Eco-Reinforcement Certificate

Eco-Reinforcement is a third-party certification scheme developed by the reinforcing steel industry to comply with the BES 6001 Framework Standard for the Responsible Sourcing of Construction Products.

Eco-Reinforcement is run by an independent scheme council. There are two ways of membership: manufacturer and stakeholder. Stakeholder membership is free to any non-manufacturer organisation deemed to have an interest in sustainably produced and responsibly sourced reinforcing steel. Manufacturer membership is on a subscription basis.

Organisational management requirements are: Supply chain management requirements, and Environmental & social management requirements.
